The Easter
Seals disability awareness project takes our pro-ability message
to pre-school and school-aged children to examine preconceptions
about disabilities, and to explain what disabilities mean.
We believe it is important for
children to learn at an early age not to equate disability with
inability. The presentation engages children through the use of
large dolls challenged by mobility issues. The "I Can Too!"
disability awareness program reaches thousands of school-age
children in our province every year.
