Fraser Edison
Easter Seals Ambassador Trust (FEESAT)
The Fraser Edison Easter Seals
Ambassador Trust (FEESAT) was established by Fraser Edison in
2003 and provides a $2,000 educational scholarship to Easter
Seals Ambassadors. FEESAT celebrates the unwavering
determination, positive attitude and future promise of children
with physical disabilities.

Fraser Edison has been a long
time champion and ambassador for the children of Easter Seals in
Newfoundland and Labrador. Diagnosed with polio at the age of
two and growing up during a time when a disability was often
equated with inability, Fraser's strength of character and level
of success provides valuable inspiration and motivation to children with
disabilities.
Fraser believes that how one
makes the journey is as important as where one arrives at the
end. As a child, Fraser was dependent on others and will never
forget those who saw beyond his polio to the person he would
become. As a result, he has led a life of service to his
community, driven by a deep desire to see others grow with him.
It is this desire which led to the establishment of the Fraser
Edison Easter Seals Ambassador Trust.
The Easter Seals Ambassador
Who better to spread the message
of Easter Seals than a child who has been encouraged, empowered
and supported by Easter Seals?
Each year, Easter Seals seeks a
child to fulfill the role of Easter Seals Ambassador. The
Ambassador is a child between the ages of 8 and 18 with a strong
spirit of independence, a "can-do" attitude, self-assurance, a
comfort level speaking in public and with the media, and is
intent on attaining a post secondary education. The Easter Seals
Ambassador represents the incredible potential and amazing
abilities of children with physical disabilities.
