In basements and attics throughout
the province lie pieces of mobility equipment that have been
outgrown and fallen into disuse. Linda's Equipment Crossing allows families to donate this much-needed
equipment and receive an official tax receipt.
Easter Seals has the donated
equipment assessed and refurbished, then, in turn, passes it
along to a child in need at no cost to the family. We
cannot always write a cheque, but tens
of thousands of dollars worth of wheelchairs, walkers, car seats, strollers, swings,
accessible bicycles, etc. have been provided to those in need.
Thanks to the kindness of donors, Linda's Equipment Crossing has enabled us to greatly increase the number
of requests we are able to accommodate.
