It is
well documented that families of children with physical
disabilities face serious economic challenges. On top of this,
since mobility equipment, for instance, is not entirely covered
by public health plans, these families are confronted with often
debilitating costs.
Easter Seals provides direct
financial assistance towards the purchase of van lifts,
computer-aided speech devices, etc., enabling these children -
and their families - to lead lives that are as full as possible.
In addition to providing
financial assistance, the Equipment
Exchange and Ramps for Kids
programs provide important support to families.
