Welcome to Easter Seals
Newfoundland and Labrador!

At Easter Seals, we work to maximize the abilities of children with physical disabilities. Our philosophy: Let's identify what the children have trouble doing ... and smash the barriers.

How, you may ask, do we make hockey or sailing or water skiing accessible? Answer: We adapt the equipment and the approach.  If you like, you can think of Easter Seals as being in the imagination business.  The imagination business?  Yes, that's right!

In striving to serve the needs of children with physical disabilities, along with the needs of their families, we often observe the biggest limiting factor to be imagination. Sure, funds and volunteers and staff are important to the mix, but good old Easter Seals determination - finding ways of getting kids up and doing - that's what puts smiles on faces!

Easter Seals prides itself on providing the finest programming for children with physical disabilities. We focus on four areas of programming:

1) Recreational Therapy
2) Direct Assistance
3) Skills Development
4) Education and Advocacy
Visit the programs section of our site for details about the wide range of programs and services available to children with physical disabilities and their families through Easter Seals Newfoundland and Labrador.
